Monthly tourism data from ONS released

The latest data from the International Passenger Survey has now been released.

In December 2017, the UK welcomed 2.6million overseas visitors, creating £1.6bn for the economy. This contributed to the highest record number of overseas visitors for 2017 - totalling 38.9m visits, up 3% from 2016.

The survey is run by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) – monthly data is available 7 weeks after the end of each month and quarterly data is generally available 4 months after the close of each quarter.
