National consumer sentiment tracker
Wave 45 of the VisitEngland commissioned national Consumer Sentiment Tracker has been published covering fieldwork undertaken 1st-7th April. The survey addresses such areas as current attitude to travel and when visitors plan to book.
Headline results show 60% of UK adults are planning on taking an overnight domestic trip in the next twelve months with overnight domestic trip intention peaking between July and September most notably for a 'traditional coastal/seaside town'.
