Welcome to Visit County Durham’s image library.

The online media centre is free to use and allows you to access key photography and videography from across the county. All of which showcases the county’s many amazing attractions, food and drink experiences, breathtaking landscapes, fun things to do and more!

How to access and download assets

On your first visit to the online image library you will need to register your details, including name, organisation and email in order to view the images.

Once you have requested access to the library, your request will be processed and once approved, you will receive an email to advise you can now log back in and view the full image library. We aim to turn around requests within 48 hours.

Once you are approved, you will you be free to view all the photography and videography within the image library, and download any assets you wish, by simply clicking on the image/video and selecting ‘request download’   

You must follow the appropriate guidelines and usage rights when using any asset contained within the image library. Please check the description of each asset for photography or videography credit requirements.
