Durham’s offer stands out against large scale purpose-built conferencing centres. The Durham offer provides space to think, space to create, and space to collaborate in venues full of character, in stunning locations, and with excellent facilities.

By focussing on meetings and smaller conferences, including the Association sector, Durham can grow its volume and value of business visitors, by targeting a specific section of the market. In turn, the growth in business tourism will support leisure tourism, with delegates often returning to a location with family or friends.
