The Auckland Project launches Annual Pass
The Auckland Project’s attractions include Auckland Castle and Gardens, the Spanish Gallery, the Mining Art Gallery and the Faith Museum (opening in autumn 2023). Together, The Auckland Project’s attractions tell the remarkable story of Bishop Auckland, from the powerful Prince Bishops of Durham to the town’s surprising connection to the Golden Age of Spanish Art.
The new Annual Pass will provide unlimited entry to The Auckland Project’s attractions for 12 months, along with a changing programme of exhibitions and events throughout the year. Exhibition highlights for 2023 include Coal: Mining the Gemini Collection in the Mining Art Gallery, Missing Women in Auckland Castle, Sin: The National Gallery Touring Exhibition also in Auckland Castle, and the launch of the Faith Museum in autumn 2023.
Edward Perry, CEO of The Auckland Project, said: “There is so much to do at The Auckland Project, and we want to inspire our visitors to curiously explore the links between our attractions. We hope people will show their support for The Auckland Project by purchasing our new annual pass and revisiting our attractions time and time again.”
People living in households with a DL4 or DL14 postcode will be able to take advantage of a new Local Annual Pass, which costs just £15 for adults, £22.50 for a family of one adult and up to four children, and £37.50 for a family of two adults and up to four children.
The Annual Pass will be available to purchase from Wednesday 5th April both online and in-person, and the Local Annual Pass will be available to purchase from Wednesday 5th April in Auckland Tower. The Auckland Project’s attractions are open from 10.30am – 4pm, Wednesday to Sunday.
