Durham to host two Stellar One Day International England games in 2024

Publication Date: 04th Jul 2023

The England men’s and women’s cricket teams will return to Durham’s Seat Unique Riverside stadium in 2024 with two one day internationals against stellar opposition.

The venue will play host to England women as they take on New Zealand in the first of a three match one-day series on Wednesday 26 June. The men’s one day team will make a welcome return to Chester le Street when they take on arch rivals Australia in the third match of a five-game series on Tuesday 24 September.

Durham Cricket Marketing Director, David Jackson, said “We are delighted to, once again, bring international Cricket to the Nort East with two fantastic matches. With the talent and rivalry these teams will bring, we are expecting a sell-out crowd for the men’s game and a record crowd for the women’s international.”

“One Day games have always been popular here at Durham and we expect the Australia game to sell out quickly so we would advise people to sign up for further information and the ballot if they don’t have access to one of the priority windows.”

Further information on prices, how to sign up for the ballot and priority access windows will be released shortly. To be added to our database to receive updates from the club about onsale dates and future events send your preferred email address to MarComs@durhamcricket.co.uk

There will be priority access for those who have attended this year’s internationals at Durham. Tickets are still available for both the men’s and women’s games, with the men’s fixture now having limited availability.
