North Pennines tribute festival returns for 2025 with early bird discount offer
Derwent Fest is back and ready to transport festival goers through the decades with a tribute weekend like no other.
Set in the picturesque North Pennines at Derwent Waterside Park, music, fun and relaxation come together to create an unforgettable weekend. The event takes place on 15 & 16 August 2025 and pays tribute to some of the biggest artists topping the charts today and in years gone by.
Kicking off on Friday evening, festival goers will enjoy a journey through the decades from 60s classics and 70s hits to the Ska sounds of the 80s.
On Saturday some of the UK’s top tribute bands will take to the stage paying homage to acts including OASIS, Sam Fender, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Queen and ABBA.

Derwent Fest is organised by Northumbrian Water and takes place at Derwent Waterside Park. This family-friendly event offers a programme of activities for kids of all ages. Access to Derwent Waterside Park’s adventure playground is open throughout the festival and the onsite shop, serving hot drinks and cold snacks, will operate with extended opening hours. The festival will also feature a Street Food Market bringing together a selection of global food options from vendors across the North East.
With day and weekend tickets available, attendees can camp under the region’s Dark Skies and extend their stay to enjoy more of what Derwent Waterside Park and the North Pennines has to offer.

- Friday day ticket £37.50 Adult and £7.00 Child
- Weekend ticket £50.00 Adult and £12.00 Child
- Camping. Tent pitches £25.00 and Motorhomes or Caravans £35.00
