1	Beamish - The Living Museum of the North	Beamish is a world-famous open-air museum which brings the history of North East England to life at its 1820s Pockerley, 1900s Town, 1900s Pit Village, 1940s Farm, 1950s Town and 1950s Spain’s Field Farm exhibit areas.
2	Bowes Museum	There’s always something great to see and do at The Bowes Museum.  With more than 50,000 items in this Museum of artists, designers and makers, there are treasures at every turn.
3	Durham Fringe Festival	The 2025 Durham Fringe Festival will return 23rd to 27th July. The North East's biggest recognised fringe festival – featuring the best in dance, drama, magic, music, poetry, stand-up comedy and more.
4	Forestry England	Hamsterley Forest is a delightful 2,000 hectare oasis, sprawling along the sides of a sheltered valley. The walking trails will take you right into the heart of the forest for some spectacular wildlife watching opportunities.
5	High Farm Holiday Park Limited	Step into nature’s playground, with over 50 animals to interact with and feed in a relaxing environment at The Paddocks. Meet all sorts of animals, from elegant Alpacas and graceful Llamas to exotic Rheas and quirky Wallabies.
6	Locomotion	At Locomotion you can see highlights of the national collection of railway vehicles in the world’s first railway town. The town of Shildon has had an exciting story to tell since the earliest days of the rail industry, making it the perfect place to explore the rich seam of local railway history.
7	Hopetown Darlington	Hopetown Darlington is home to a vast collection of over 30,000 objects including archives, vehicles, art, costumes, ephemera and furniture showcasing the history of the railways in Darlington and the wider North East region from 1825 up to the late 20th Century.
8	Kynren	Kynren – An Epic Tale of England is the UK’s ultimate live-action spectacular, a must-see for anyone seeking unforgettable entertainment. Held in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, this epic production takes audiences on an immersive journey through 2,000 years of history, myth, and legend.
9	Lumiere	The UK’s light art biennial. The hugely popular event will take place over three evenings this autumn. For Lumiere’s 9th edition, a brand new programme promises to feed the imagination with magic and joy.
10	The Auckland Project	The Auckland Project is unique collection of heritage attractions, galleries, gardens and parkland in Bishop Auckland, at the heart of County Durham.
11	The Witham	A registered charity and company limited by guarantee, The Witham is a community venue for theatre, music, comedy, films, art, classes and social events, reliant on your support.
12	Ushaw: Historic House, Chapels & Gardens	Ushaw is a place where, wonder, curiosity and amazement collide. The arts, heritage and events venue is waiting for you to escape the everyday, stop the world for a while and be surprised.
13	Visit County Durham	Visit County Durham (VCD) is the destination management organisation for County Durham and one of a portfolio of nationally supported, strategic, and high-performing accredited Local Visitor Economy Partnerships.
14	Calders Kitchen	Calder's Kitchen was formed by Andrew Calder in 2015. They started making Piccalilli in their family kitchen after discovering Andrew's late Granddad, Charlie's favourite family recipe and deciding to 'give it a go'.
15	Stroodles	Stroodles - Eco Tableware work with hospitality and venue operators creating high impact, low cost sustainable touchpoints for catering and events.
16	The Canny Candy Gadgies	The Canny Candy Gadgies is a third generation, family, confectionery business on the heritage coast. A fast growing, light hearted brand with a product portfolio of the highest quality, hand crafted, value for money, artisan confectionery available.
17	Reed in Partnership	Reed in Partnership provides the Restart Scheme in County Durham. The Restart Scheme is a support service for long-term unemployed jobseekers.
18	Durham Wildlife Trust	Durham Wildlife Trust works to protect, enhance and promote wildlife and nature conservation in South Tyneside, Sunderland, Darlington, Gateshead and County Durham.
19	Northumbrian Water Ltd	Discover stunning Waterside Parks and reservoirs, located across the North East, offering the perfect setting for days out in the great outdoors.
20	Raby Estates	Raby Castle, Park and Gardens is without doubt one of the most impressive intact castles in the north of England. High Force Waterfall  is one of the most impressive waterfalls in England.
21	Tanfield Railway	All aboard the World's Oldest Railway! Take a steam train ride back in time at the Tanfield Railway for a 3 mile journey through the beautiful Causey valley. Hauled by a lovingly restored industrial steam engine, you'll take a seat on a recreated colliery carriage.
22	Wynyard Hall	The Gardens at Wynyard Hall are fast becoming one of the North’s leading visitor attractions, offering a fabulous day out for couples, friends, families and groups alike.
